STELLAR INDOOR TRIATHLON

What is indoor triathlon?

Triathlon is a versatile sport consisting of three disciplines: swimming, cycling, and running. Triathlon distances vary in length and difficulty, offering challenges for everyone, from beginners to experienced athletes.

Indoor triathlon is an alternative form of triathlon, held in enclosed spaces such as swimming pools, gyms and fitness rooms.

Competitors swim in a pool, ride exercise bikes, and run on treadmills. Indoor triathlon is a training session that allows you to test your abilities in controlled conditions, regardless of the weather.

  • What is triathlon?

Triathlon is a sport consisting of three competitions performed without a break, one after the other:

    • Swimming
    • Cycling
    • Running

Athletes cover set distances in each of these disciplines. Triathlon develops endurance, strength, and technique—it's one of the most comprehensive endurance sports in the world.

  • How is indoor triathlon different from classic triathlon?

The difference is in the place and conditions:

    • A classic triathlon takes place outdoors (lake, bike route, road race).
    • An indoor triathlon is a competition held inside a sports facility – without the need to move between disciplines.
  • Is indoor triathlon for beginners?

Yes! Indoor triathlon is an excellent form of competition and training for:

    • people who are just starting their adventure with triathlon,
    • athletes who want to train in controlled conditions,
    • anyone looking for a challenge and fun in one.
  • Where can you take part in an indoor triathlon in Warsaw?

At STELLAR Warsaw, we organize regular indoor triathlon competitions with professional timing, instructors, and a friendly atmosphere. Sign up or check the event calendar.

  • How to prepare for an indoor triathlon?

    Basic preparation:

    • Practice swimming, cycling, and running – preferably in short bursts.
    • Make sure to alternate between disciplines (so-called transition zone).
    • Dress comfortably, bring a towel, water, and a positive attitude.
